Commitment of the ULP to the Safeguarding Policy

The ULP reaffirms its full commitment to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all athletes, coaches, volunteers, officials, and members of our skating community. This commitment is firmly anchored in the updated Statutes of January 2025, which establish safeguarding as a fundamental priority of our organisation.

In line with these Statutes, the ULP actively promotes measures to prevent any form of abuse, harassment, discrimination, or misconduct. We ensure that clear procedures exist for reporting and addressing concerns, and that all members are aware of their rights and responsibilities.

Our safeguarding approach is implemented in full compliance with the International Skating Union (ISU) safeguarding policy, with national safeguarding frameworks, and with the rules and guidelines of the Agence Luxembourgeoise de l'Antidopage (ALAD). These standards guide our practices and reinforce our dedication to protecting every participant in our sport.

As part of this ongoing commitment, we are currently developing a dedicated Safeguarding webpage. This online resource—currently under construction—will provide comprehensive information on our policies, procedures, reporting channels, and educational tools for all members of our community.

The ULP remains dedicated to fostering a skating environment where safety, integrity, and well-being come first.
